I am writing to say: WE DID IT! You all sent in $2500, which will be turned into $7500 by our secret 2:1 matching donor. THANK YOU! That scholarship funding will be deeply helpful in the coming year. Every year I am a guest teacher for this program through Midwest Mujeres, and this year, the program has grown and expanded! There is now a "Voice and Dream Academy," titled "Voices and Dreams: Our Stories Have Value," which is a months' long training that culminates in the Yo Quiero Dinero speaking event on November 8.
